Women Only
We specialize in women's instruction!
 |
At Direct Approach Golf School, we specialize in instruction for women, designed by women. In creating a program for the woman golfer, physiology, strength, and mind-set have been woven into a program to provide a fun and relaxed environment for female golfers. This program guarantees a productive learning environment with a 4:1 teacher/student ratio, and has proven popular for women preferring to participate in a class with only other women students.
We focus on your needs. Whether it is distance, accuracy, trajectory, you will see immediate improvement and you will continue to see improvement even after you leave. | |

|
Day 1:
- Evaluation of student's personality, current skill level and experience. Set short term and long term goals.
- Establish a solid putting stroke, through drills and a putting routine.
- Improve chipping via set up, technique and club selection. Learn and improve upon the proper fundamentals of chipping.
- Introduction of the pitch shot. Learn the difference between chipping and pitching - understand when to use each one.
|
| End of Day Goal: Have a solid comprehension and better understanding of when to utilize each shot to develop confidence with the short game. |
 |
Day 2:
- Continue to improve the chip and pitch shot introduced on Day 1.
- Discuss fundamentals of the golf swing (i.e. grip, stance, posture, ball position, and alignment).
- Work with short and mid irons. View your swing and compare with the pros with state of the art video/computer program.
|
| End of Day Goal: Realize 'tendencies' and have drills established to help improve those 'tendencies'. |
Day 3:
- Continue to work on 'tendencies' in full swing with irons. Move to long irons.
- Clubfitting Analysis.
- Introduce woods. Discuss and understand differences between woods and irons and develop a pre-shot routine with both.
- Second computer analysis of swing - note areas of improvement and areas still needing work.
|
End of Day Goal: Have a solid comprehension of what “your swing” is and how to continue to improve and take your game to the next level. |
